'Y a des fois, comme par enchantement, on se surprend à vivre en chantant.
Certains sont si surpris qu'ils se prennent pour le nouveau Phoenix des hôtes de ces bois et souhaitent à tout prix se faire Quand on a négligé ou oublié une vocation laissant croire à un succès fulgurant et puis plus rien auprès de la ménagère de moins de cinquante ans collée à sa télé (mais moi, je crois encore en l'homme, en la femme en l'occurrence, et je sais bien qu'elle n'est pas affalée devant sa télé toute la journée, non, c'est juste qu'elle a oublié d'éteindre son boîtier Médiamétrie et pis voilà), on peut s'en remettre, et continuer à chantonner la BO de sa vie, cette petite musique qui nous trotte dans la tête depuis je sais plus quand, attends, ah si, oui, c'était quand j'suis allée acheter du lait au supermarché, 'y avait U2 "I can't liiiive, with or withoooout you, ouuuuuhouhouhou, ouuuuhouhouhouh ouh ouh".
U2, c'est pas forcément la musique qu'on préfère avoir dans la tête, mais c'est quand même mieux que "U-U, les nouveaux commerçants !" ou "Carglass ré-pare, Carglass rem-place", nan ?
La p'tite musique peut ne faire que passer, 2 minutes, un quart d'heure, ou s'installer pour la journée, voire pour le trimestre.
Si trop, c'est trop (pico, oui, comme ça, c'est fait), on peut essayer de déloger l'indésirable en se forçant à en chantonner une autre qu'on préfère, comme "Oh you can't stand me now, you can't stand me now, you can't stand me now, you can't stand me now, oh you can't stand me now, you can't stand me now, you can't stand me now, YOU CAN'T STAND ME NOW !" de feu les Libertines, toute aussi lobotomisante, avec le même message désespérant, mais choisie, donc mieux tolérée.
Et puis il y a des musiques ancrées dans notre cerveau depuis si longtemps qu'on n'en a même plus conscience, c'est un peu comme notre langue, là, le bout de chair qui occupe toute notre bouche. Bon, si on n'y pense pas, on n'y fait pas attention, elle peut faire ce qu'elle veut, on s'en fout, tout est question d'âge et de limites, il est important d'en avoir préalablement parlé avec elle :
- d'accord ou pas pour lécher les vitres (limite fixée vers 3 ans),

Pour avoir grandi avec la télé (je pense être un phénomène rare), mais ne la consommant dorénavant plus qu'occasionnellement, j'ai trop souvent l'impression d'avoir des références depuis longtemps rattrapées par d'autres bien plus récentes chez les télévores. Et là encore, c'est le bide assuré.
Illustration : j'arrive alors que quelqu'un termine la réalisation de quelque chose, je trouve ça vraiment bien, ou alors bof, eh ben avec un ton ironique ou non, je vais forcément dire "Super chouette ! Comment vous faites ?" (ce qui est très con à dire à un enfant de 4 ans qui vient d'étaler son kinder fondu sur la belle nappe blanche de Maman). Et ça me fait rire - au moins intérieurement.
Sinon, on peut être plus ou moins poreux aux répliques de films. 'Y en a qui connaissent par coeur des dialogues que, même s'ils sont tout droit tirés d'un film que j'apprécie beaucoup, je ne reconnaîtrais pas. Sauf les leitmotivs, je les retiens, et forcément, je les inclus dans le cinéma de ma vie. J'ai par exemple souvent recours au fameux "Qu'est-ce que j'peux faiiire ? J'sais pas quoi faiiire..." d'Anna Karina quand je m'ennuie et que j'ai sournoisement envie d'être contagieuse.
Et alors quand j'suis toute seule, à force, j'me parle. Ou plutôt je baragouine en tricotant du franco-anglo-italien qui ne veut rien dire, mais l'essentiel, c'est qu'ça m'chante.
Quand il fait chaud, forcément, je m'exclame "Questa Calda !", si une rencontre réoccurre (oui, parfaitement) en un laps de temps très bref, il y a du "Ancora Marcello !" dans l'air (au générique de début d'un Fellini, Otto e Mezzo je crois), tout ça inclus dans un anglais à l'accent cockney-texan fort prononcé pour plus de plaisir (ou français sans le savoir ;)Inquiétant pour certains : si j'me sens toute mollassone Pepiti-Pepito et que je croise mon regard dans un miroir, je vais m'adresser à moi-même : "T'as un proooblème ?!" style racaille-De Niro-you're-talking-to-me ?!

Si la serrure de la porte d'en bas refuse notre clef depuis deux semaines et qu'on est obligé de sonner chez la voisine - seule proprio à bord, en s'excusant mille fois de déranger (pour un truc que si elle, la voisine, elle étudiait sérieusement, il serait résolu par la venue d'un serrurier), il peut arriver de chantonner "et si en plus, 'y a personne", de Souchon.

Des amis à moi ont une théorie sur ces airs qui restent en tête. Ils appellent cela "la théorie de la chanson-écran".

L'idée me semble intéressante, et dans mon cas, elle a longtemps fonctionnée, avec une version Live de "Join Together" des Who.
